About

As a psychotherapist, one of my primary focuses is supporting adult neurodiverse individuals, couples, and families—specifically where at least one person identifies as autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD. I am a proponent of the neurodivergent model, which holds neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, etc.) as part of the natural spectrum of human diversity. Neurodiverse couples bring unique strengths and challenges that differ from those of neurotypical couples. My education, research, and training are specifically geared toward supporting neurodiverse couples in discovering and cultivating their own path to a healthy and fulfilling relationship. Another focus of my practice is providing compassionate care for individuals navigating religious trauma, particularly from high-control religious groups, high-demand organizations, and cults. My area of study focuses on patriarchal apocalyptic groups. If you are in a high-control religious group and considering leaving and struggling to adjust to life outside or have been out and have never reconciled your experiences, I offer a gentle approach to help you embrace your authentic self and personal goals. Whether you're seeking individual support or working toward family reconciliation, I’m here to support you on your journey. I bring a wealth of experience in supporting individuals who have faced various forms of coercive control, including survivors of domestic violence and those impacted by the troubled-teen industry. My expertise extends to aiding individuals who have endured severance from loved ones due to their involvement with political, commercial, spiritual, or religious cults. As always, I offer affirming and supportive therapy to those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you seek targeted, short-term solutions to alleviate immediate symptoms or prefer a thorough exploration of your past to gain deeper insights into your present, every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs. Don't hesitate to reach out and discover if my therapeutic approach aligns with your goals and preferences. Currently, I only accept credit card payments for services. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I provide detailed superbill statements for potential reimbursement. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact me. I am dedicated to making therapy financially accessible for you. Kristina is dual licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #144595) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #17217).
